BEFORE YOU BUY

Four checks.
A more informed choice.

Keep this guide next to the seller's product page. A missing detail is a reason to ask a question.

01

Start with the complete label.

Look for the ingredient names, amounts per serving, suggested use, and other ingredients. A proprietary blend may leave individual amounts unclear.

Your label checklist
  • Full Supplement Facts panel and ingredient list
  • Serving size and servings per container
  • Allergens, directions, and warnings
  • Manufacturer's name and contact details
02

Read evidence with context.

A study on an ingredient does not automatically prove that a finished product will give the same result. Check the studied formulation, dose, participants, and measured outcome.

Questions about research
  • Was the actual product studied, or only an ingredient?
  • Was the dose comparable to the labeled serving?
  • What outcome was measured, and over what period?
  • Can you read the source rather than only an advertising summary?
03

Compare the total price.

Use the checkout total, including shipping and tax. Compare cost per serving, then check whether the purchase is one-time or a recurring subscription.

04

Check who you are buying from.

Review delivery terms, refund eligibility, return costs, and how to contact the seller. Keep a copy of the terms that apply when you order.

Questions for the seller
  • Who fulfills the order and handles support?
  • Is there a recurring charge or optional upsell?
  • When does the return period begin?
  • Are opened bottles eligible, and who pays return shipping?
